TYPES OF DOCUMENTS

Diplomas

Jesus

*If you plan to study or work in a foreign country but completed high school, college, or a trade school in the United States, the country that you are transitioning to may request that your academic records be authenticated by the school Registrar before the Apostille is granted. We can assist you in obtaing proper authentication of your Diploma or other academic documents. Before we can process your documents, you will need to follow the following guidelines:
1. Contact the School's Registrar
Contact the Registrar from the school that issued the Diploma and request a Certified Copy. You will need the original or color copy of your Diploma to be signed and notarized. Some schools request that you purchase a new diploma. If the school does not have a Notary on the premises, you can find a Notary that can travel to the campus to meet with the Registrar. The Notary must follow the proper notarial laws of their State in order for their State office to authenticate the documents. If the school has a long processing time for your Diploma, you can mail the original copy to the school to speed up the process. Include return postage so the school can mail it back to you. You can order a new Diploma if you do not have one in your possession or it is currently being used for another purpose.
2. Verify the Document
Once you receive your notarized Diploma, verify that the Diploma has been signed and notarized. Some schools will sign and notarize the back of the Diploma, while others will sign and notarize the front side. In either case, the original (wet) signature and the printed name of the Registrar must be on the document(s) including the Notary's name, original signature, date of notarization, notarial wording, and original stamp. Please Note - The school Registrar must mail the original signed and notarized Diploma. The notarization must be original. Therefore, emailing us a signed and notarized Diploma is not acceptable.
3. Mail us the Documents
Mail the copy of the Certified Diploma to our office along with other required forms and we will processs your Apostille.
Obtaining an Apostille can be a complicated process and should not be left to someone who does not understand all of the steps involved. Untrained persons that do not understand all of the requirements for legalization in each country are more likely to make errors, which will severely delay the Apostille process and cost you more money. Once the original English Diploma is retrieved you can mail them to us to be Apostilled. We can also provide Certified Translation Services into the language required by the Country of Designation.
Please Note - See our Terms & Conditions
  • All diplomas larger than 8.5 x 11 will be folded in order to fit the FedEx/UPS return priority envelope. Please, do not mail in the glass frame or the leatherette cover that your diploma is placed in by the High School, College or University. Do not mail in a laminated diploma. Please note that your diploma will be folded, stapled, stamped, and handled by several people. We recommend that you contact the school and order a fresh new copy so you can display on your wall.
  • The translator’s responsibility is to only translate your documents into the language you choose. The translation will not be notarized nor will it be printed on any special paper. Difficult to read documents cannot be translated.
